The controller consists of cam elements assemble together, cam drum (a shaft with cam plates), locking device consisting of a ratchet wheel and pawls, housing with the cover, and operating handle.

Housing and cover are cast of aluminum alloy.    .

Cam drum comprises a steel shaft with shaped plastic plates secured on it, running in bearings.

The cam assembly comprises an insulating bar with cam elements mounted on it. Cam element consists of a stationary contact(63A), a lever with a movable contact, a roller and a contact closing spring.

Turing the cam drum is with the help of handle.

The cam drum, whit changing positions, closes or opens the cam elements with the help of its cam plates.

Turning the drum changes connections in the circuit and creates the required conditions for drive operation.
